Melinda Pettigrew serves as the Front Office and Membership Manager for the Southwest Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce, where she is dedicated to building strong relationships, supporting local businesses, and fostering a thriving business community. She works closely with Chamber members to help them maximize the value of their membership while creating a welcoming and positive experience for everyone who walks through the Chamber's doors.In addition to her Chamber role, Melinda proudly serves as the Executive Director of the Texas Horse Racing Hall of Fame, where she is committed to preserving and celebrating the rich history and legacy of horse racing in Texas.Melinda holds a Master's degree in Education and spent 14 years as an educator before transitioning into community leadership. Her background in education shaped her passion for serving others, building meaningful relationships, and empowering individuals and organizations to succeed. She brings that same servant-leader mindset to her work every day, helping businesses connect, grow, and thrive.Outside of her professional roles, Melinda is a devoted wife and proud mother who values faith, family, and community. She enjoys bringing people together, fostering collaboration, and making a lasting impact through service. Whether welcoming new Chamber members, coordinating community initiatives, or promoting Texas horse racing history, Melinda is committed to strengthening the communities she serves and creating opportunities for others to succeed.
